The Greater Toronto Area

The GTA includes the capital of the province of Ontario, Toronto and the regional municipalities of Durham, Halton, Peel & York. The dynamic metropolis stretches from Burlington along Lake Ontario to the eastern region of Clarington. In total there are 25 municipalities that belong to the Greater Toronto Area and as of 2016 the population was 5.928 million and expected to grown exponetially over the next few years.
